Sunny Brar has been working in the sports industry for over a decade. His journey began with the operation of one of Australia’s leading boxing magazines, and then joining the National Rugby League landscape with South Sydney Rabbitohs, where he is currently enhancing the digital experience for their audience.

Under his leadership, the Rabbitohs have achieved significant milestones, overcoming the challenges of COVID lockdown whilst delivering engaging content for Members, developing high quality storytelling with athletes, adopting new commercialisation models to create value for the Club, and ultimately becoming the most engaged sports team in recent years.

In 2017, Sunny embarked on a self-funded project to capture the diverse faces of Australia, focusing on Indigenous heroes, as part of his personal journey to understand his own identity. His work has been featured in exhibitions around the state, celebrating the multicultural fabric of Australian society.
